The Ineos Grenadier has arrived in Roseville - so I signed up to do a test drive as I haven't seen them up close. Paul was my advisor and he took me around and inside the entire vehicle - the Fieldmaster Station Wagon, to show me all of the bells and whistles and thoughtful touches that the Ineos brings to the table. He was thoroughly knowledgeable with its offerings and capability. Overall I liked the vehicle a lot, thought I'd drive nicely w the detuned BMW powertrain and while you can feel vehicle's weight the engine doesn't feel underpowered one bit. EPA stated gas mileage estimate leaves a little to be desired, I guess you can bring no along some addit fuel or add in an extended fuel tank. The backseat seemed a bit upright, but I did after the fact, see that someone is selling brackets that will lay them back maybe an inch and a half. Visibility is great out of the drivers seat, though I think I would have to get used to the tilt of the steering wheel. Love the presence of all the physical buttons, such a huge contrast to my Tesla. The red powder-coated frame was a nice touch! Still undecided on it as I have a decent truck right now and it's almost twice as pricey at $90k+. I will probably come by for another test drive as I think it over. Definitely measure your garage height as this thing sits tall and if you plan to get a roof rack that is sticking point. End of the day, this beast is so robust and stunning - can't get enough of it.
